Secret Garden
In this endless quest for "forgotten places," like a gold prospector, I know that sooner or later I will stumble upon a nugget. This corner of subnatural mid-mountain forest left undisturbed by any logic of management and exploitation is certainly one my most notable recent finds.
Patience, perseverance, passion, and stubbornness are the watchwords in this endeavor, and once the treasure discovered, all that remains is to let oneself be carried away by the magic of the place. Then, for a suspended moment as if in a state of levitation, far from the clamor of our world and all its excesses, I believe I can touch as closely as possible the mysteries of the beginning of life, which is ultimately no small thing.
Here, nature unfolds its terrifying beauty and seems to take pleasure in dispensing its radicalism, its anarchy, to the point of exuberance. Chaos is only apparent and the improbable is the ordinary. And under rainy conditions or when clouds hit the summits, enveloping the ancient trees in mist and filling the frame with mystery, the full aesthetic potential of this timeless sanctuary is at its peak. It's up to me to return there as soon as a slot in family planning allows it, and failing that at any time to immerse myself in it in thought...It fills me with joy and relief to know that this place exists and that many others remain to be found.
These images are part of an initial series started in September 2025. Novelties will be added over time, certain that I will explore again this little corner of lost paradise. Feel free then to come back from time to time...
