Bark
Bark
Thin, thick, rough or smooth, colorful or monochrome, young or old: bark is the visible imprint of a tree's life as it grows tall. The time of the bark is a map of the constraints marked by the seasons and the years.
A bark is constantly evolving, always remaining roughly the same but nevertheless having a very different appearance depending on the season, climatic conditions, and the vagaries of the weather.
Protuberances and bumps, branch histories, wrinkles, crotch problems, curves and twists, tales of animals, moss, lichens, fungi and bacteria; for those who take the time to observe them closely, the barks are never boring and tell us an infinite number of intriguing and fascinating stories.
